BCLS Founders
Our History
In gratitude to God’s love and faithfulness, Frank and Flor Oamil, envisioned the establishment of a Christian school in the community where they grew up. They foresee the school to be a good venue to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus to the younger generation. Their vision is: “To bring the children up in the training and instruction of the Lord" [Ephesians 6:4], and [Proverbs 22:6] “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.“
This divine desire led to the birth of Ben Lippen Christian Learning School Foundation (BCLSF) in the year 2007. The name is an adaptation of Ben Lippen Schools in Columbia, South Carolina, a department of Columbia International University. Ben Lippen is not a person, it is a Scottish phrase meaning "mountain of trust."
Ben Lippen Christian Learning School Foundation (BCLSF) started in 2007 as a pre-school learning center with 18 students. Classes were first held in a house. The following year enrollment rose to 32 students. In compliance with the requirement of the Department of Education, a school building was constructed in April, 2010. The following school year 2010-2011, fifty-one (51) students enrolled and 13 commenced to move up to first grade in the public school.
Parents saw the outstanding performance of their children. They expressed their wish for the school to offer a complete elementary program. Despite the limited resources and lack of leadership, decision to apply for a complete elementary education program was submitted to DepEd. The permit was granted in 2014, adding one grade level each year until sixth grade.

It is the collective work and sacrifices of relatives, friends, and fellow believers in the Lord Jesus that contributed to the success of the school. We are grateful to God for every one who are part of this endeavor. To date, one additional classroom has been completed. Praise be to our wonderful and faithful God!

Mission Statement
Ben Lippen Christian Learning School Foundation seeks to glorify God by assisting family in the whole development of a growing child, equipping students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically under the leadership of Jesus Christ, so that, these children become responsible and contributing members of society.

Vision Statement
To establish a learning center that fulfills the challenge in Ephesian 6:4..."to bring children up in the training and instruction of the Lord" and in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Statement of Faith

We believe that both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, revealing the three Persons of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the incarnation and virgin birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as true God and true man.
​
We believe that man was created in God’s image, but is separated from God by sin.
​
We believe that man is redeemed by grace through faith in Christ’s vicarious atonement for sins, the shedding of His blood on the Cross.
​
We believe that the gift of eternal life is available to all men, that those who receive Christ by faith are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
​
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, His imminent return, and the resurrection of His people.
​
We believe that the Bible, the Word of God teaches that marriage is between one man and one woman.
